Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring is a multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a lamination process. Laminate flooring can simulates wood, stone or tile. Laminate is produced with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer which gives the it the appearance. The inner core layer is usually composed of melamine resin and fiber board materials. Laminates are designed to be a floating floor, meaning that it is not fastened to the subfloor, it uses a locking mechanical tongue and grove system that was designed to hold the boards together.

This is then topped with a standard vinyl top layer. WPC will have a similar feel to a laminate floor. WPC flooring is water-proof and will not be damaged in the event of a spill or moisture. WPC Products come with either a neoprene or cork backing, eliminating the need for an underlayment.
